The Beat Goes On - Lifebeats Partner with Maejo Rescue Unit in Thailand

Lifebeats First Aid has partnered with the Maejo Rescue Unit. This is an all volunteer unit (with over 40 members) in a small community in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

This group of volunteers are the ambulance service in their area. They attend accidents on their own scooters and 2 donated ambulances. They are true first responders doing wound care, CPR, spinal holds etc. and transporting the injured to the hospital (they also treat on site accident victims before sending them home) ALL VOLUNTEER WITH NO GOVERNMENT FUNDING!!!

They run solely on DONATIONS to put gas in the ambulance, all first aid supplies, training supplies and PPE etc.
They are available 24hr a day and attend on average 300 situations a month. From fender benders to search and rescue in water to major accidents. They deal with road rash, deep cuts, wounds to CPR and amputations (many many are life threatening situations as most people drive scooters).

Maejo Rescue Unit needs donated first aid supplies to aid in the amazing volunteer work they do.
Lifebeats will be taking donations of money and sending it to Thailand (trusted family member) to order as many supplies as we can get. We will personally deliver all donations to MRU. We will deliver them a new box of supplies every time we reach $50cdn. Lifebeats will keep everyone updated on the delivery's and attach photos to social media post's.
If you would like to donate to the MRU for first aid supplies, please message us
